Joshua Shaver, CFP, ChFC, Managing Director, Wealth Manager, Diamond State Financial Group

Joshua Shaver is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at Diamond State Financial Group.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.  Josh holds his Series 7, Series 66 registrations and as well as his Life, Health and Ethics Insurance licenses.  He has also earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC ®) designations.  As a Managing Director, he trains and mentors advisors in the early stages of their career.  Josh is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.

At the University of Delaware, Josh was involved with the Financial Managers Association, as well as a part of its Honor Society. Since joining Diamond State Financial Group in 2007, Josh has worked primarily with engineers, young professionals and families, and clients nearing retirement, helping them secure their financial future.  He has also obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Delaware's Professional and Continuing Studies.

Josh has been recognized as Securian’s Silver Field Director of the Year in 2012 and 2013, Securian’s Diamond Field Director of the Year in 2014, and Securian’s Gold Field Director of the Year in 2015 for unit leadership and commitment to excellence.
